Well, here is the last set of the “sneak peek” for Phil and Ellen’s wedding. It has been alot of fun editing these and getting them on here for you guys! :) I am so pleased with how smooth the whole day went and so blessed to have done these for you. A big thanks, again, to my assistant, Hilly, for all her help and hard work, too.  Congratulations, Phil and Ellen!  May God bless your life together.  Enjoy every day! :)

Okay, so as I’m uploading these pictures, I realized…there’s alot of kissing pictures! Then, I think back to previous weddings, and realized…I take alot of kissing pictures. Maybe it’s because , after 12 years of marriage, I still remember my wedding day..and all I wanted to do was kiss Shane! :) I don’t know…I think it’s more because…hey, I like kissing pictures! :) They are just married, they are in love…have at it! :) I love Phil and Ellen’s “formals.”  Hope you enjoy them, too, guys! :) (there’s lots more, but we’ll save some surprises!) :)

Phil and Ellen were married June 5 here in Frankfort.  I was so honored, as always, that they chose to entrust me with their wedding day!  My assistant, Hilly, and I had a great time with them and their family and wedding party.  This was the first wedding I had ever shot at the old Good Shepherd church and at Buffalo Trace, where they held their reception, and so it was fun to have some new “backdrops.”  Ellen was a beautiful bride, and she and Phil were so relaxed all day.  Everything went so smoothly, as we love for it to go!  Thank you guys for having us there, and I hope you love these pictures as much as I do! :)

I was honored to be chosen to take Jamie and Bryan’s wedding pictures!  Some of you might remember Jamie’s daughter, Meagan, whose pictures I did last August.  Meagan and Tim are dear friends of ours, more like family.  My girls were their flower girls, and my husband married them. I usually don’t do more than one wedding a month, but when Meagan contacted me and said her mom wanted me more than anyone else to do her pictures, I couldn’t say no.  It was a small, simple wedding in a small town.  But, love was in the air! :) Jamie and Bryan had planned all along to be married in the lovely prayer garden, but God had other plans, as it poured rain down upon us (until, of course, the wedding was over)! :) But, they took it all in stride, and moved indoors. There wasn’t much to work with in there, but we made do, and-most importantly-they were married.  They seemed to understand, as older people do,  that this day was really only about getting married and choosing to  spend the rest of their lives together and being together with the friends and family they love.  And, everyone had a good time! Love you guys.  Love your family.  Enjoy your sneak peek! :)

Here is the first of two posts with some highlights from Travis and Kristy’s wedding.  It was a full, beautiful, fun day! We couldn’t beat the surroundings we had-gardens and historic buildings. Frankfort really is a neat town. Travis and Kristy are a lovely couple with a great group of friends to work with! The carriage that the ringbearer pulled his sister down the aisle in was the most creative thing I have seen.  And, one of the highlights of the day, for me, was the father/daughter dance. They rocked the house! :) There’s one picture of the minister (Travis’ brother) with Travis and Kristy all laughing…inside joke, but WE know what it’s about don’t we, Mike?? :)  Oh, and the cake was THE most amazing cake I have ever seen. The lady who made it is a true artist! Thank you, again, for allowing me the privilege to photograph your wedding. Enjoy your sneak peeek! A special thank you to my assistant, Charna, for all her help and some lovely images to add to my own.
